2. polls at this time are pretty meaningless . . .
a year is an eternity in political time . . . anything can (and likely will) happen to change whatever the current equation happens to look like . . . including new candidates entering the race . . . waste of time, imo . . .

3. It's one year and 10 months, yes?
It's much too early...

Seems like a distraction to me. There's so much that needs to be done.

4. well
it's meaningless as far as a prediction of what will happen 22 months from now.

But it's NOT meaningless for purposes of recognition, fundraising, and to the counter the silly argument that Senator Clinton is "unelectable".

6. true
but how astute is it to say Clinton can't win when she's currently beating the top two Republican contenders?

I think such analysis is based more on that person's preference of candidates, rather than an objective look at the facts.

7. Unless they polled millions and the margin of error is .5 these polls show no
one beating anyone, they are all dead heats. In fact on the site is says the margin of error is 3%, the biggest spread on there is 5% so that is still a dead heat.

8. here we go again.
I remember when in '03 people would point to Dean not running as well against Bush as Kerry that Dean was unelectable!! These early polls don't mean a thing--There is very little difference between Hillary running two points ahead of Giuliani and Obama 4-points behind. It's all around the margin of error and frankly, Hillary, being so well known, much better known than Obama should be running better than that.
