Tell Congress to pass H.R. 254 (Hate Crimes Bill)
Edited on Mon Jan-22-07 08:24 AM by ck4829
This Act may be cited as the `David Ray Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007' or `David's Law'.

Several 'christian' Right groups are already fighting it, telling their zombies that it will prosecute 'thought crimes', and of course it does not infringe upon speech, instead it can add 10 years to the sentences for people who kill, injure, kidnap, or rape people based on their race, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or disability that they may have.

Read the bill at:
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c110:H.R.254:

Some stories about the 'christian' Right groups opposing this bill:

What the 'christian' Right is doing is pure evil. Tell Congress to pass this bill.

2. This "Repent America" group doesn't sound much different than the KKK or any other hate group...
from their press release:

“The proposed federal hate crimes bill is a dangerous threat to our civil liberties,” stated Repent America director Michael Marcavage. “Having been charged under Pennsylvania’s hate crimes law for declaring the truth about homosexuality, I can assure you that if this bill is passed and signed into law, it will be used to put Christians behind bars,” Marcavage continued......
“Christians must pray and respond to this emergency situation by urging their representatives to vote against this dangerous bill,” Marcavage concluded.

We've got to PRAY that God keeps hate legal? What depraved nutcases.
