Clinton PR machine is a wondrous thing.
Disclaimer--I'm neutral to negative about Hillary. It drives me crazy that she keeps being labeled as a liberal. NO way is she "liberal."

Anyway, caught McAuliffe on the TODAY show saying what a wonderful human being she is. He delivered his piece in such a rapid fire manner that it was clearly memorized. They brought in David Gregory to do the interview and he tried his best to counter every good thing Terry said, but he couldn't shake him.

Carville was on CNN and I'll bet that they other surrogates on the other programs. VERY well orchestrated campaign -- and they clearly need to be. If we thought that the press was viciously against Gore, we ain't seen nothin' yet. Every single "news" report trots out every negative thing that they can dream up in every story they do.

I may find myself being for her after I was against her.

4. I'm getting a little that way myself
I guess it's that I'm feeling a tad protective or something. When Dick Morris comes out and says he wants to "swift-boat" Hillary with some sort of documentary and when the rabid right starts slinging crap... and even bringing up Monica ( which has nothing to do with her IMO), then I feel like I should defend her. It's crazy because she is about number four on my list of preferred candidates.

6. I'm the same way
I want to vote for someone anti-war from the beggining...but I feel like I am being protective of Hillary...I have always supported the underdog and I hate how they go afte rher. It is because she tried to enact universal healthcare. They will never forget that.

9. David Gregory did clips of not cooking cookies, I don't sing stand by my man, and referred to
the 93 Health disaster as if it was her fault. Indeed every statement she's ever made supporting a Bill Clinton policy decision is now evil, apparently.

David Gregory was a very good surrogate for Fox News and the slime to come

10. she's been sold to America as a far left liberal
The things the media has focused on over the last 15 years have been her "socialized medicine" plan that failed.

Her statement about it taking a village to raise a child was derided as blatantly communistic.

The fact that she has kept her last name of Rodham points to her being a radical feminazi.

And, of course, rather than running for Senate in her more conservative Arkansas, she decided to run in that bastion of liberalism - New York.

Outside of the base of the Democratic Party, most of America thinks of her as a liberal.

11. Hillary has shown again and again that she doesn't give a shit about the left wing
She will sell us out at the drop of a hat. She is not on our side. Her decision to run just shows what a morally bankrupt person she is. So why would anybody support her?

12. Is Rupert Murdoch still meeting with her and running her PR campaign
Edited on Mon Jan-22-07 09:30 AM by itsmesgd
see CBS news article "Rupert Murdoch Loves Hillary Clinton". The article reminds us of the fundraiser that Murdoch held for her in 2006 and shows their growing "relationship".

Here's a brief snip.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/05/09/politics/main1600694.shtml

"Clinton has worked hard to take the edge off her reputation as a card-carrying liberal. She has has collaborated with congressional conservatives on some peices of legislation, called for a "common ground" on abortion and cut a political figure some on the left see as decidedly un-liberal."

Let's remember that Hillary is in bed with the Murdoch Machine. A vote for Hill in 08 is a vote for the status quo. Why would Murdoch support her financially if they did not agree on the fundementals?
