So Gonzales won't say the exact date the illegal spying was approved.
Why? Could it be that they were spying long BEFORE anyone suspects? Even after he was asked to research and get the exact date by the Senator, Gonzales STILL didn't get the exact date. Why? Could it be because he's lying through his teeth, and doesn't want to lie even more?

WHY couldn't Gonzales tell the Senator when the illegal spying was signed off by him?

1. The "program" did not exist until long after they started spying
on Americans.

2. I think you might be on to something...
Either Alberto "Torture Now, Torture Forever" Gonzales is really dumb, or they've been spying since the prick got into office.

3. He won't give the date because he did it immediately after the
AUMF-which we know Daschle has already confirmed that their direct request to add "on United States soil" was specifically denied which means they had this plan in the works before the AUMF and adds to the theory that they knew what they were doing was not legal.

4. the spying started as soon as they could get it in gear. well before 9/11.
they are spying on political opponents and for profit, blackmail and power and maybe for a terrorist or 2, if they stumble on them, for show.

5. The program was started prior to 9-11, according to the book recently
pubished by the former NY Times journalist. That's why--their lies about keeping people safe, about prevenitng another 9-11 are blown to smithereens when you realize that they spied BEFORE 9-11, and 9-11 still happened.

10. This is it...Our talking point!
They spied before 9-11 and still couldn't protect us. They had the football and fumbled it because they were too interested in political blackmail. They failed to protect our country, because they were trying to dominate this country politically.

Bush* = 2996 (and counting 9-11 felony deaths) + 2270 Iraq deaths
Cheney* = 2996 (and counting 9-11 felony deaths) + 2270 Iraq deaths
Rumsfeld = 2996 (and counting 9-11 felony deaths) + 2270 Iraq deaths
Powell = 2996 (and counting 9-11 felony deaths) + 2270 Iraq deaths
Rice = 2996 (and counting 9-11 felony deaths) + 2270 Iraq deaths
Gonzales = 2996 (and counting 9-11 felony deaths) + 2270 Iraq deaths

et all = 2996 (and counting 9-11 felony deaths) + 2270 Iraq deaths

12. I think the long shot tonight is a hope that Feingold has information that
Gonzo knew they were doing it when he was sworn in for the AG hearings.
