Isn't "...breifed several members of Congress..." a conspiracy!?!
Sorry, I had to edit my original question to fit the headline, so here's the full question:

Isn't "...We briefed several members of Congress about this program..." when the law says that they must brief ALL of the Judiciary Committee (or whichever committee they failed to brief) and then told those Congressmen and women to keep this secret form the other members of their committee and congress, Isn't that practically the very definition of a Criminal Conspiracy!!!???!!!

And if so, Why, oh Why doesn't someone say just come out and say that!?! :banghead:

1. You are correct.
After watching testimony I suspect there are some who are frightened. Talk about the secret government.

2. Gonzo said he interprets the law differently than Feinstein and
Hatch said he agrees with Gonzo so Feinstein is calling for "strenghtening of the law".

5. Thanks, I found it at a on-line sticker site, then started....
...shrinking it smaller and smaller (with Photoshop) until the DU computer would take it.

4. Read State of War by James Risen
I'm reading that now, and was shocked to see that members of Congress were notified. The book says that the members were not allowed to bring staff members to the meeting when they were notfied, and that they could not discuss it with staff members. Rockefeller raised concerns, and was told that he would have to write the letter of concern himself to the VP...no evidence that a reply was ever received.

Of COURSE they knew what they were doing was illegal, and they were doing everything they could to keep it a secret.

7. He wrote another copy of the letter he send and kept it in
"a safe place". As soon as the news broke, he released the letter. He not only responded when the press brought it out, but he covered his ass in the process.
