Several days ago, CBC had a small piece on Dubai

showing the city. I was flabbergasted. The place oozes a futuristic feel.
There's a mall with, get this, a skiing facility built in it and people can
watch people ski from inside the mall. Yep, that's skiing in the middle
of the desert. This ski facility is top notch and
amazing, I couldn't believe it. Makes sense I suppose in that there's nothing
but buckets of money in that part of the world, but :wow: ...and lots of tourists too.
Sorry no link..but the CBC website probably has something about there.

Of course, I'm not saying this port deal makes sense, cause it doesn't *a duh* -
just wanted to mention what I had seen on CBC since Dubai is all over the
news right now.
