If I was George W. Bush's Advisor.....
This is what I would tell him to do to remediate his approval.

Get his ass down to New Orleans, once a week. No photo op, but real, and honest concern. Set up meetings with the mayor, the parish leaders, and real people. Let him listen to all their problems. Itemize them. Solve them. Go back the next week and report back how he cleared the obstacles.

The situation in New Orleans is totally disgusting. These poor people have been forgotten. Not only have they lost their home, their livelihood, but many, many, have had love ones disappear.

It is a total, freakin, crying shame.

1. No Photo Op - no bu$h
He can't be bothered with real people and real problems. He has wars to start and US infrastructure to give away. Not to mention the social programs he must cut.

2. I know, that is definitely his MO. But if he did what I said, at least
they would get some relief down there.

4. If I was his advisor I'd just tell him the truth. That the lights are
coming on even in the dumbest 30+% of the country. That he needs to be happy with the destruction and theft that he's already caused because if there is a God (like the phony bastard pretends to believe in) he will be spending eternity in a very very warm inhospitable place. With the rest of his friends and family.

Give it up now george. Give it up and go away.

5. I wish he would just quit
and let Kerry or Gore have the job.

He hates doing anything for anybody. Those are not good qualities for a POTUS.

8. Who in the hell would want the job now?? Think of the damage
and hatred this man has caused.

I would love to see shrubby tossed out on his ass, but I feel sorry for the person that has to clean up his mess.

10. The Clinton folks are still well respected
I think we have enough talent to turn this ship around.

Attitude is half the battle.

14. Hey -- you are absolutely right!!
I get so caught up in the day to day bullshit from this administration that I tend to forget all of the great people we have on "our side."

You definitely have the right attitude. I am going to do my best to improve mine...

6. He is neither a Human Being nor a Human Doing ...
... but a mere reflection of the regard of others. He is a pathological narcissist and he solely exists as a reflection in a toilet bowl of fluids of unknown origin and a variety of effluences.

9. his advisor doesn't care about the poll numbers
Edited on Tue Feb-28-06 08:20 PM by maxsolomon
he doesn't care about the poll numbers.

they're in this till january 19th, 2009. no matter what. only an impeachment will remove either * or dick. worst case, they just stop answering any questions at all.

after he pulls out of iraq & declares victory, its going to be a full-court hagiography press. congressmen in untouchable districts will begin naming airports after *. bronzes will be cast. obfuscatory biographies & rosy colored analyses will be written, especially if we import any iraqi oil in the next 50 years. the carlyle group will prepare his boardroom chair made of the skin of dafuri orphans.

the rich will never give up trying to control this country in any way they can. they believe they own it. and, truly, they do, in an ever increasing proportion.

11. Bush is waiting for the Democrats to put a plan on the table, so...
He can ridicule it and smear it with claims that it will never work, and will only make us vulnerable to another 9/11, which is why he wants funding for the UAE and Halliburton to rebuild a stronger New Orleans to fight the war on terror.

Bush would also like a statue of himself in his Glorious Commander Uniform, the size of the Statue of Liberty, at the mouth of the Mississippi overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, so he will always be guarding America from evil-doers and suiciders.
