*conservation alert* - comment period open for Bush giveaway
www.wilderness-sportsman.com (news section)

The comment period for Bush's national forest sell-off plan is now underway. This plan would sell 300,000 of our best national forest land to pay for Bush's tax cuts for the rich. It would lock up and privatize hundreds of thousands of acres of our great national forests, locking out local families, tourists, wildlife watchers, hunters, fishermen, hikers, rafters, etc. It seems Bush and Cheney are set to create a United States where the only place one can enjoy land is if their friend owns 50,000 acres, much like the European Feudal system of old.

It's also highly unlikely the USFS will even listen yo you since they have now become hopelessly corrupt (at the top) after 5 years of Bush control. So please also write or call your congressional leaders and voice your displeasure with this plan:

1. Called my Congressman. What a joke and a waste of time.
It's Lee Terry Jr. His nose is so far up bush's ass it's not even considered his body part anymore, it's one of georgie's internal organs.

2. Isn't this the same land that Oil and Gas leases would have generated
$ billions in royalties if Joe Barton had not exempted them? If I recall, the sale will generate about $5 billion and the royalties would have generated abut $7 billion. With a record $100 + billion in profits last year I think the energy industry could afford the royalties.

I'd write my Rep, but he's one responsible for the sale--Joe Barton.
