This is the message I heard when I woke up this morning and turned on the news. HUGE HEADLINE: Bush says we will find Bin Laden and bring him to justice. WELL OVER FOUR YEARS after the so-called "massive manhunt" for the man. Hell, we found Saddam right away! And with all our technology and intelligence - the NSA, the CIA working there - heat sensing, detailed satellite surveillance, and other location technologies - and we STILL haven't found him yet? And we're supposed to believe Bush when he claims we'll find him?
No, I don't buy it for a minute. Bin Laden is too valuable to Bush. He's Bush's boogeyman! His tapes always seem to pop up at the most opportune times - like the Friday before the 2004 elections - to remind the public that we need to be fearful and thus vote for Bush, the protector-warrior and savior of our people. And just when the NSA syping scandal erupted, what do you know? There he was again, threatening us and telling Bush that the American people are increasingly against the war in Iraq, thus conveniently propogating Bush's famous "if you're against us, then you're with the terrorists" mentality. Just after this new tape surfaced, Bush was back behind the podium once again exhorting reporters and the American people, "Uh, let me remind you, O-sa-ma Bin La-den wants to attack us, as we heard the other day."
No. Bin Laden is way to valuable to Bush. He handed Bush the election in 2004. He continues to remind the public of what there is to fear so that Bush can move forward on his plans to take away our civil liberties and change our government into a militaristic dictatorship - what they've always salivated over. PNAC said before 9/11 they needed a new "Pearl Harbor" to get things going. And it worked. Their boogeyman, their neverending war to feed the military industrial complex, and the constant flow of money into the coffins of companies that profit obscenely from war.
No. Bush won't "find" Bin Laden, if even such a person really exists at all.
