President Bush, on an unannounced visit to Afghanistan, vowed Wednesday to stand by this emerging democracy and not "cut and run" in the face of rising violence. He also predicted Osama bin Laden would be captured despite a futile five-year hunt.


The visit was "unannounced" in that every source I read on the trip said he was going to visit Afghanistan. It's an emerging democracy with a puppet head that we installed and no government control outside of the capital city. I was wondering how we can cut and run from a country we hardly try to help. I guess the Afghani are better off. Compared to Bushes total chaos induced Iraq, Bushes oh yeah I'm fightin a war in that country Afghanistan seems like a success. Lesson less Bush is a good thing.
