More Americans Kidnapped along U.S.-Mexico Border than Iraq?
"And more Americans have been kidnapped along the U.S.-Mexico
border in Nuevo-Laredo than in all of Iraq by radical
Islamists. Senator Jon Kyl of Arizona is chairing the hearings
on the escalating violence along our southern border, and he
joins us tonight."

The above is from the daily e-newsletter I get from Lou Dobbs' show. I have a meeting tonight and will miss the show - is this true? I will Google it - but thought there may be some knowledgeable South westerners here to help.

Thanks!

1. But the bu$h regime doesn't call them terrorist or insurgents
And they think we are racial profiling on the Port Security issue.

mexican border than there are in Iraq so this is utter bullshit unless you want to compare the per capita numbers as in kidnappings per 1,000 people. Under those circumstances I think Iraq's numbers will be much higher.

On edit. added words.

in Iraq than from Antartica. Of course there are a lot more Americans in Iraq to get kidnapped that there are Americans in Antartica to get kidnapped.

On edit: You beat me to it Bob3. :)

5. Kidnapping is a problem in Central and South America.
But it's people with fat wallets, not Americans per se, that are targets.
