Watch your debit cards...more info has been stolen

...don't know if it is just Guaranty Bank's debit card system or if other banks are involved but debit cards are being canceled and people are not being told. The bank shut down the cards before telling people.
The bank people said today that either a "merchant" lost people's debit card personal info or one of those processing/financial companies has done so. At least 22,000 accounts/cards involved, the bank said it happened to such a large group they can't "keep up" w/ notifying people (??? sucked when I tried to use it yesterday and it was declined---took me 24 hours to get the straight story from the bank!)

ANYway, may want to have a backup method of paying for a while, just in case!

There may be a company out there that is not wanting to admit publically that they have lost people's $$ info.
