6. I happen to see Gene Simmons of Kiss on Fox News this morning

Talking about voting for Bush in 00 and 04. His reasoning was "When you're walking through a rough neighborhood you need a rotweiller with you, not a french poodle." He even added "Yes, sometimes a rotweiller can bite your children by accident but you still want one with you during those rough situations". What an idiot. He then went on to say several times how he also voted for Clinton and thought and still thinks he was a great president and that even Clinton's polls were in the 30's.

Yeah, asshat, Clinton's poll #'s were in the 30's 2 years into his term before he actually got the chance to do anything and have people see the results of his actions. Not 6 years into his presidency where he controlled all branches of government and has gotten his way on everything he wanted.

Both of them were speaking appreciatively of the military life. (This was just after the Invasion of Iraq.)

Maher seemed sad that he'd missed fighting in a war. Nobody mentioned that others serve their country a few years, even in "peacetime."

Simmons regretted that he couldn't go to Vietnam. He was in college, alas. I remember our Southeastern Asia adventure & was screaming at the screen.

I always hated Kiss.
