MSM Promoting INDIA Every Day This Week: HERE'S WHY -->

I'm sure you all have noticed that every time you turn the news on this week, the media has been promoting India as some kind of wonderful paradise where Americans are relocating in droves for lucrative jobs. Where Indian managers openly say, "Come to India!" And where stupid pundits who have no clue continue to propogate the LIE that outsourcing jobs to India is wonderful because it actually frees up capital to U.S. companies who then hire more workers here in the U.S. Bullshit on that one - that extra money goes to 1) Top management; and 2) Hiring more cheap workers in India.

But it really made me wonder WHY. WHY is the mainstream media choosing THIS WEEK to promote India. Then it hit me.

The continuation of a robust military program – and a special American exception carved out for India, which never has signed the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty that more than 170 other nations have signed since 1970 – will make the deal between Bush and Singh a tough sell in Congress. American law prohibits the U.S. from sharing its nuclear technology with nations that have not signed the treaty or have tested weapons.

Wonder of wonders, Bush is in India this week to announce an agreement with that country which would allow the sharing of U.S. nuclear technology. However, there's one problem. IT IS ILLEGAL. Therefore, in order to push Bush's illegal pact with India through, India has to be seen as an exciting, friendly new country that not only is our ally, but is almost an extension of America in a way. This would put the American public at ease and would put pressure on Congress to OK Bush's plans. India is a friendly country, so the hell with our laws, why not? That's the idea.

Yep, 'ol Karl Rove has been making the calls to the MSM for sure. Sell India so Bush can push his illegal pact with India through. I just HOPE Congress is smart enough to see through all this.

2. Don't blame India for the decisions made a decade ago by the multinational

corporations to offshore their IT operations to India.

Those companies announced their intentions, and once the dominant giants -- HP, IBM, Compaq, Intel, the telecoms, etc., etc. -- did it, their competitors almost had to follow suit in order to compete.

So, what can do about it now? Domestic content legislation is the place to start. That should be the Dems #1 economic and trade issue, starting right now.

Bush is rewarding the terrorists by giving them our ports AND some U.S. plants that make military equipment - and at the same time, he's also rewarding countries who refuse to sign the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty by giving such countries our nuclear secrets.
