it's pretty hard for me to take an ex-guard's word for it.

I dated an ex-military guy once---one of those green beret types. Totally unable to have an opinion unless it was issued to him. I am not dumping on all military guys....but, I am saying it happens.

we have a prison that is so bad that we keep it on an island no Americans are legally allowed to visit.

Gitmo needs to be shut down permanently, and this administration needs to be told that their nasty little torture games are over.

8. Gitmo is a nazi experiment created to develop terror tactics

of interrogation, not designed to get information but to create fear in the minds of those that might be combatants against the U.S. It's a very stupid and counterproductive strategy that has been puked out the the minds of Rumsfield, Cheney and Gonzales.

6. It should be closed immediately. That handful of insignificant

inmates will not be a threat to the U.S. If they are then we're in some deep trouble already because for every Gitmo inmate that hates America there are ten thousand young Muslims in a lot better position than the inmates to do us harm if they wish to.
