Some lunatics really did kill our people in NYC,
I don't want any prisoners frm those that killed our own in NYC - I want them dead. That does not excuse this idiotic war in Iraq - not by a long shot.

Frankly, I don't see the difference between attacking Canada or Iraq after 911, neither makes sense. And we may be a lot worse off by the latter.

I do pray the United States is blessed - 'cause I think this idiot is testing our boundries.

This is going to break now - and God help those poor kids over there!!

Joe

21. To threaten the president, it would have to start with
"President Gore"

I have no feeling, personally, about Bush - I really don't.

In fact, I hope he has a long life in CRAWFORD, TEXAS.

But right now, about a thousand kids are going to die over there, before we can correct it, because of this morons actions.

If he really is a good christian, he ought to be scared to death of what our GOD is going to do with him when he passes, really. He shouldn't care about what we think, he really should be scared about what what "He" thinks, though.

13. Sure, it is a rant.
I came to the sick conclusion, the 2nd really is going back, again, and that means MY kid is going back AGAIN.

I guess it is a rant.

But I DO KNOW, many vets, combat vets - they get it - and many are here today.

Kids will die, OUR kids will die because of this bullshit.

At some point of life, you call "Bullshit".

And this is Bullshit.

4. What have we done to be more blessed than the rest of the world?
Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 10:48 PM by mediaman007
I don't mean to be sarcastic, but I've always wondered why the United States should receive all of God's blessing, while he deprives the rest of his creation? This was my chance to ask the question.

9. There are no blessings spread around but the luck of the lottery.
Really, where you land in life has a lot to do with luck. That pretty much explains * and this country's fortunes. We can also find ourselves in the losers club pretty quickly.

11. They also sent Anthrax to people in our country. is Anthrax a WMD?
As near as I can tell there are very few people with access to WMD's and I don't think any one in Iraq had any. that is untill the US started dropping Depleated Uranium on them.

27. Not ridiculous, plausable.
There is something SO wrong with this picture in Iraq. And I do think the Army is a bunch of fuck-ups - Yeah, they could screw this up enough to lead us to this sick point in time, alright.

There may be enough truth in the statement to turn Monica's blue dress red.

Anyway, I wouldn't be sarcastic about it.

18. The United States is blessed,
It was when FDR was president and it was when JFK was president.

Bush is nothing more than a pimple on the face of our history.

I really do think the US is blessed by God, I really do.

I guess we are about to find out if that is true, too.

Joe

There are good combat vets here, on this site - I'd really listen to them. Freedom does have a price and they know the price, and they are here for all of us.

23. Oh, of course he would and did - you ever listen to him??
The day the United States surrenders the moral high ground, MANY bad things happen -

I don't surrender a God damn inch.

Bush is NOT our country. He will pass, and we will continue.

But for a great democrat, the jewish races lives, and but for a great democrat the reich, a thousand year dark age died.

We did that.

He is nothing more than a blemish on history, he is not US, and never will be.

Joe

25. No trial -
No more or less than that which would have happened in 1944 or 1945, and that means no trial.

We all have an interest in this western civilization. We do.

But that is not how wars are won. Our primary interests, as a society, is in stopping this type of carnage. Survival as a society.

Bush is just an idiot, nothing more. But our society is going to live for many more generations. And our society, the American society, was developed with a notion towards "run 'em out on a rail" type justice. Instant justice. It is not right or wrong, it is the way we developed.

No trial,

No Bush either,

Joe

It's too foolishly dangerous a notion to entertain seriously.
