Brownie doesn't deserve any praise

Yes he is coming forward and exposing the chimp for the worthless incompetent he is. But if Brownie was really doing his job he would have exposed the White House incompetence long ago and during Katrina itself. He could have called a news conference and said "They just don't get it--these people need help" and put pressure on the chimp--but no--he played ball and got thrown to the lions anyway. Now he is giving his version--a bit late, imo.

I agree with your assessment, but surely this is better than if he had stayed loyal to the bush administration and covered up their incompetance.

Rather than saying he doesn't deserve any praise, I would say, let us temper our praise with the memory of his failures when he could have made a difference for those suffering in new orleans.

2. Calling out Bush and his administration is great

but he's only doing it to cover his own ass. I'm glad he's doing it, but I won't praise him for it. He should have done this a long time ago, not just as soon as it can be used to his own benefit.

Fuck him, I don't care who he is "outing"! He still bumbled the job! I posted this in another thread, but I'll never forget that while the citizens were DYING, ol' Brownie was worried about getting a nice bite to eat at a "nice" restaurant! Fuck him!

4. I agree....

I think it goes back further than the Katrina debacle....when he accepted the job...he had a choice to say he wasn't qualified in Emergency Management....this was not a job that "you do on the job training"....as we have seen lives were at risk....people died....

These lackeys are destroying our country, he gets no compassion nor praise from me.....
