Bush makes a little 'confession'

Speaking to newspersons about his meeting with Mr Bush at the Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy said the US President interacted with farmers and Self Help Groups (SHGs) and expressed happiness over the marketing of the products.

Mr Bush was so impressed, he said he and his wife Laura also take up some farming and plantation work on their ranch in Texas, but were very poor at marketing the products.

He also showed interest in the partnership programmes of ANGRAU with other universities in America. He also suggested the University could also have some tie-ups with those in Texas.
