Freedom in Iraq?
According to Bush and many other war supporters, the Iraqi's are better off now.
The girls can go to school and the women are free to walk to streets without fear
and get jobs. If only this was true. Next time a Republican tries to play "we are
freeing the Iraqi's" card, send them a link to http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/iraq_deaths;_ylt=AsYMQ2pIV6OF7gGvBrCvmkms0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTA2Z2szazkxBHNlYwN0bQ--">this article:

The large number of civilian deaths — many in Baghdad, where 25 percent
of the population lives — has created a climate of fear where parents are
afraid to send their children to school, women spend their days huddled
inside their homes, and husbands send wives and children abroad.

(the animation linked above was the second I ever made, so it's not as good as
my more recent, but I think it applies to this subject.)

3. the man really has lost his marbles.
i watched him talking with the Italian PM the other day and he couldn't stop smiling. he would say something like "terrorists are willing to kill innocent people" and then he would get a big grin on his face. he also kept snickering when someone would talk in italian. he was like a kid who has been told not to smile, they try their best but they can't do it.

2. It's a living hell hole. Order of magnitude worse
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 11:55 AM by IsItJustMe
I've heard that over a thousand people a month are either killed or go missing from kidnapping in Bagdad alone.

Kids are being kidnapped and sold on the sex trade market. Woman who use to feel comfortable walking around in casual attire are now in fear for their lives.

If this is good, well what can I say?
