Where's Noreiga?
Its been about 17 years now, since we invaded Panama, killed thousands of Panamanians and imprisoned Noreiga (supposedly for drug traffiking).

Whats become of him? Why hasn't the media done any stories on this?

3. This Just In "Noriega is still in Prison."
Insiders noted that Noriega remains in prison, much like he has for the last several years.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programs.

6. In Federal detention in South Florida, and rumor has it doped to the gills
They can't do anything with him, so if the rumors are true he's overmedicated to be kept somewhat quiet and compliant.

Manuel Noriega

Former Maximum Leader of Panama, currently resides in a Florida jail for being a drug mastermind in his spare time, or for just inconveniently being in the way of America, depending on who you talk to.

In 1988, Noriega told his deputy in the Panamanian Defense Forces: "I've got Bush by the balls."

11. Wasn't it just a few years ago that Poppy whined about Noriega?
Something about how, if Noriega were ever released, he would come looking for His Poppiness?

14. as others say, yep, still in prison, not likely to ever get out
the people of panama are forward-looking to the future instead of the past and seem to hold no grudge toward real americans but if i read my spanish graffiti correctly they still have no affection for the bush family

last i heard the media is not allowed access to noriega in federal prison, presumably nothing positive would come of fanning these flames, we can't undo what we did to the people of panama in the past, we can only treat them w. more respect now and in the future

16. He will be out soon
According to US parole guidelines, the general will now remain in prison until 2007, when he may be released if his behaviour in prison is considered to have been acceptable.
