DIEBOLD is at it again
A friend sent me this link. I have no idea what I am reading but it doesn't sound good. Can you translate for all of us that are computer challenged!

2. manipulation of elections. this is why everyone needs to get on board
to protest about the electronic voting machines, otherwise all your GOTV activities will be for naught. Don't believe me?

Read this:

The GAO recently released a 107 page scathing report on Electronic Voting Machines in our country. The report states that Electronic Voting Machines in the U.S. are NOT SECURE, NOT ACCOUNTABLE, NOT TRANSPARENT, NOT ACCURATE, AND ARE UNCERTIFIABLE. A bipartisan panel which included both Republican Congressman James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) and Democratic Congressman John Conyers (D-MI) released a joint news release (a true rarity in these days of divisive politics) regarding his report, yet the main stream media has ignored it's important findings. Here is a link to the GAO Report:

It's up to us. Think about it: if they turn over control of the house it means subpoena power and investigations. If the Dem Party won't address the issue, it's up to us.

3. Why do Diebold's Touch-Screen Voting Machines Have Built-In Wireless
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 05:30 PM by Vincardog
Infrared Data Transfer Ports? Lets put it this way. You are designing a box to do the most important function a citizen can do Voting.
Do you build a transparent system that is open verifiable and secure?
Or do you build a "Black Box" operation?
Do you provide a Voter Verified Paper Ballot?
Or do you say "Trust us?

Do you do all data transfers in a transparent verifiable manner such as PAPER?
Or do you do your transfers over non secure phone lines or use Built-In Wireless Infrared Data Transfer Ports?

The main thing is what company can not supply voter verified Paper ballots but can provide Built-In Wireless Infrared Data Transfer Ports?

Do you think all these problems would exist unless they wanted to steal the election?

5. That is the question that must be asked over and over again.....
I take it that you are in the IT industry...

The problem is we have to communicate this information in laymans terms....I understand perfectly what you are saying but a lot of people are still coming up to speed with the technology and terms.

And to add on to your questions, why can a paper trail not be provided unless you wanted to steal the elections?

4. It is very bad....
I am not the best techno person but I work in the industry. It's not secure technology.

wireless data transfers over that Infrared port-
Basically you can transer data between two sources without them being hooked up by cables. The computers or voting machines can be set side by side and basically talk to each other and transfer data to each other.

I am sure that someone else can explain this better but these machines have to be outlawed!!

6. You'd did a fine job
I basically understood what they could do and know that it will put every election in question.

7. Of course they are stealing the elections
But as long as MSM won't cover it, it isn't news! At least that's what the people tell me when I try to discuss this.
