Quick Media Survey/ Tweety/Blitzer...."Brownie" lying ass off w/Tweety
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 05:35 PM by KoKo01
the two are in cahoots to blame NO's on Nagin and Blanco. Tweety mocking Nagin's accent and the issue of who should take the blame for the evacuation by buses not taking place. I have to say I thought "Brownie" was brownosing both Tweety (not hard to do) and the P-Resident (squatter) saying that Bush wasn't responsible with Tweety egging him in to place blame elsewhere.

Blitzer had a reporter who was there in NO's on with him interrogating Brownie. They did a better job but Blitzer looked like he has a pain in his gut and Gene Mizerve (sp) did try to get some points accross and they showed some video tape and stuff trying to pin "Brownie" down ...but it still seemed weak...but better than Matthews spinning and whoreing for Bush.

I turned it all off after checking because it was RIGHT WING FRIDAY to SAVE CHIMPY's BUTT...and it was disgusting.

I think "Brownie" is recanting all those bad things he said and mildly trying to blame everyone but his own lying ass. He isn't the "hero" he sort of appeared to us DU'ers who thought he was "calling out the Chimp" instead he's gotten the Koolaid...and is just lying to save his sorry self.

:puke: on the WHORE MEDIA. Bush is tanking and they spent every minute trying to save him from "freefall."

On Edit: Maybe some DU'ers who could watch it all had a better impression that I did...if so, please post..I just couldn't handle any more and I'm trying to participate in the Tweety Boycott...but I had to peek.

1. Matthews is the worst of the lot.....his snide remarks about Mayor Nagin
should NOT be left unchallenged.

He needs to apologize, big time.

2. Or we could not watch......
I realize that's like asking people on here to go without water, but I figured I'd fight the good fight on it.

I guess that whole "Tweety boycott" from about a month back never took too well.

4. You're right, that's the only way to deal with liars and propagandists
I haven't seen him for two months ~ I doubt I missed anything, other than wanting to break the tv.

They do what they do because there are no consequences. The only effective consequence is to deprive them of money. I guess we haven't yet reached the level of disgust necessary to produce one or two months of canceling cable in large numbers ~ when we do, I think things will change ~

10. "Depriving them of the 'MONEY'" would be a great FIRST STEP...but
try to get a consensus between Repugs and Dems on THAT ISSUE!!!!! GASP..

One might as well smother oneself with one's own pillow in a hotel room.....

Ugh....

16. Who needs a consensus?
They think Matthews is a dem, we know he's a repug. If we all stop watching then he goes away.

Of course to the fine folks at DU, Chris Matthews is their version of heroin. It ruins their days and their lives, but inexplicably they continue to throw their lives away out of some sick need to watch him and then complain endlessly about him.

6. That stuff about Nagin's speech patterns and whatnot was
kind of reminiscent of Rita Cosby and her hoodlum remark. I am back to my Hardball boycott.

So now it is all on Chertoff and the local and state gov't people in Louisiana. Bush has no responsibility. And I'm curious about Brown's explanation that Chertoff was solely responsible for firing him. Who runs things in this administration? Why is bush so unaware of all things bad? When did ignorance and a lack of awareness and knowledge become an acceptable excuse for everything?

3. Okay, so Brownie scores a win with the Bush video, and he's not happy
with that? The lack of federal response caused all the rest of the problems. Boy, now he's greedy.

11. Yeah...but the REAL ISSUE IS! "BUSH KNEW" and just like 9/11 he was
ABSENT ON THE JOB!!! Instead of reading "My Pet GOAT" he was cutting a BIRTHDAY CAKE with JOHN McCAIN...the fellow he stabbed in the back in the 2000 Campaign back in South Carolina. Remember the "Black Babby" that McCain was responsible for? All the SC DIRT that allowed that state to eventually vote for the "Squatter?" BUSH!!!!

So...it COME OUT...that BUSH KNEW...and we get DISTRACITONS????

A Good CALL for the BUSH BOTS...but not so much for the rest of us out here fighting 24/7...but a GREAT REPUG STRATEGY!

Sad and SICK but will it work on the "video gamed of America." Yeah..probably...who cares anymore...it's all about Christian Music and Armageddon... Let's "Dance and Sing" as we go down on the Titanic...or March off to Israel.

9. In other words...you say Brownie is "playing both sides against the middle
here?
He appears on Tweety and shills for Bushies and goes on Blitzer (CNN) and appears "neutral" and in the end "Brownie" trashes Nagin/Blanco and comes out as a "WINNER?"

Sheesh....only the head of an Arabian Horse Show Judging/Commission ("put up job"..would have the BALLS to DO THAT!)

Way to GO! "Brownie." :D

13. It's not a great thing though..to have seen that.
 I always EXPECT BETTER...and am trashed "in the ditch" when my worst fears come true...because it's "fellow DU'ers" who are "trashed in that same ditch."

Those of us here who are always hoping and expecting "BETTER!!!"

:-(

15. I know it's dissapointing when we see the corruption,
the excuses and the failures out of these so called leaders. But we are at a point where we are realistic with our expectations now...so the hurt is not so painful....

I pray that we win back Congress this year...and maybe just maybe this country will survive!!

Change is coming....The Dukester Cunningham got 8.4 years in prison that's a start....

14. I didn't catch Blitzer & Brownie
but DID see Tweety & Brownie and your assessment is exactly the same as mine Koko.

Yep, Brownie is out to absolve himself and Chimpy--and make Skeletor the scapegoat, along with Nagin and Blanco. He gave Chimp and himself 5's for Katrina response on a 1-10 scale, and Skeletor a 2. He also said Chimp was a good chief executive....blah blah

I thought Brown did a heckuva poor job in response to Tweety's rapid fire questions. He was wormy and evasive in his elaborate revisions of the events before and after Katrina. A slimeball. Deserves no credit.

Yep, Right Wing Friday LOL
