1. NPR said how "ecstatic" the Indians were of Bush being there and said
nothing about the protests in one report today. They are becoming like Fox in disguise

4. These must be amazing disappearing protestors
who don't even rate a mention on the nightly corporate whorefests that masquerade as "news." According to what I saw while dial hopping this evening, the chimp was well received in India and Pakistan. CBS also had a glowing report on India explaining that in the past few years thousands of Indians have suddenly become wealthy, and even impoverished people are getting into the capitalist spirit by starting their own businesses - like the woman who picks up discarded plastic bags off the street and sells them to another woman who makes trendy purses and shoes out of them. Featured CBS story tonight.

The network that once took pride in its hard-hitting reporting now wallows in meaningless crap. Pathetic.

Wonderful how this statesman has enhanced our reputation around the entire globe. :sarcasm:

12. How does he sleep at night!
(originally by Michael Leunig)

George Bush: Actually, I slept on a silk embroidered 15 person bed, with silver service breakfast in which the truffle écláirs cost as much as the wages of 1500 indian workers...

(Incidentaly, that's who paid for the écláirs, not bush probly)

14. Thanks for posting these photos! You'd never hear about this from
the corporate media, and NPR, as someone on this thread mentioned.

This is a UNIVERSAL reaction to the U.S. PNAC disease. They know monsters when they see'em.
