2. None, I don't think they will be brought down
I wish they could, but then again, I don't really want another Repuke in the White house for the last 1 or 2 years of * presidency ready to run for re-election with the option of being there 2 terms and having the advantages of the incumbent.

6. They CAN be brought down.
It isn't out of the question. Only if the people get mad enough to the point where the sound becomes deafening.

15. My Point Is Really, Do You Want To Open That Can Of Worms
When it might actually backfire by putting in a Repuke in the White House that is then set up with the incumbent's advantage to run in 08?

That's my fear. Impeachment is a political action. Removing from office means that someone will be put into that office.

I'd rather put in a Dem Congress, keep the wimp chimp neutered, and impotent. Then put a Dem in the Oval office in 08.

16. How does this sound?
Put in a Dem Congress. Nancy Pelosi is Speaker of the House. Bush and Cheney are both impeached and Pelosi becomes President. Would you be okay with something like that?

17. Sure, But I Think Before That Happened, * Would Step Down and
there would be Cheney put in, or he would resign putting in Rice, and then * would be removed and there would be Rice or Frist, or some other 08 wannabe.

That would be what I did.

I don't think Cheney would stay in office (or will finish the term anyhow) if * were going through impeachment trial

And she would have the same option for 2 terms.

10. Those who vote for them don't care, as long as they win.
and they don't care if the librul vote is counted at all.

And the liberals can't win as long as it's rigged.

18. DING...DING...DING -- We have a winnnnahhhh
Exactly. I was thinking about this on the way home today as a matter of fact. They see us as the enemy, and if their guys have to do some dirty, underhanded, perhaps illegal shit to keep us at bay, they're fine with it. Actually, they encourage it!

7. It will be a combination but ....
if you're asking which straw is most likely to break the camel's back I'd say it will ironically be the Abramoff related/fueled investigations.

Republicans have a monolithic party, with Bush's numbers in the tank an exposure of massive republican congressional corruption will drag the administration down.

I think you missed that one. It was just a little thing, kind of an electronic Watergate. Nothing by Bushco standards.

26. Patriot Act removing our Bill of Rights is another scandal- also
abolishing Constitutional checks and balance in neutering the Congress and Judiciary.

Shredding the Constitution!

Bankrupting the country...higher deficits than all presidential terms COMBINED since George Washington!

Dissolving middle class-outsourcing jobs.

12. A as-yet unknown scandal.
Probably something that isn't nearly as bad as the scandals so far. People will just be at a boiling point and one, relatively minor thing will push them over the edge.

14. The failure in Iraq and the initial response to Katrina
have started the crumbling to the demise of the cabal. It is a slow process but it is happening now. Nothing, with the possible exception of a homeland terrorist attack, can save it.

God I wish and hope I will be proven wrong.

But based on previous experience, and the fact that the repukes control everything, and our dems lack sufficient spines, it will never happen.

Sorry.

36. All of the above PLUS
The housing bubble is gonna bust and I think we will have a stock market crash by fall of 2006.
I think it is gonna become evident the economy is not doing so well. The canary in the coal mine will be the lack of rebuilding the Gulf Coast and NO. If we were to have another large natural disaster, a significant terrorist attack like 9-11, or are hit by avian flu, the American people will realize GWB and krew have bankrupted the gov't and all the agencies are are shellls doing PR stunts.
