If this Ports fiasco proves to be the unexpected wedge issue of 2006,
Bush's own PANAMA CANAL, then...

what better opportunity to use this deal as the poster boy for GLOBALIZATION?

This is the sort of easily understandible situation where the interests of the
neoliberals and the neocons juxtapose against the interests of the 80% of
Americans who are opposed to outsourcing and other items of the globalization
agenda, and believe that the ports should be US-run.

It's time to tie globalization to the sinking ship of Bush.

a bite here,,a bite there.. There is only so much commerce available to be bought or sold.. We used to be sellers..now we are buyers.. Without products being made here, it's not a stretch of imagination to realize that soon, no one will have money to buy much either..

I feel for my kids and all the young ones. We'll limp along for a while..The young ones will be the ones to suffer when the whole thing collapses..
