2. Us too, loved all the Dylan music.
I hope the rampant harrassment was portrayed to be a little over the top - I would hate to think it was that bad.

3. might of been but...
...it was set in the Anita Hill era which was pre harassment legislation.
It would not surprise me if it was that bad, in that scenario, or maybe worse.

6. I actually think the harassment was down-played.
I don't think anyone in an audience can possibly appreciate in two hours the toll such a hostile workplace takes on someone dealing with it year after year after year. I think the worst aspect is the abysmal failure of "good people" to do the "right thing." The moral cowardice of "good people" is, in my experience, the most maddeningly frustrating problem in the workplace. "Go along to get along" is the maxim of Good Germans who permitted work camps and death camps. We get the world we deserve.

5. I saw it last week, too. I'm in LOVE with Charlize Theron!
It's a great movie for liberals ... a bit like "Norma Rae." The fact that it wasn't until 1998 that the suit was settled should be a clue: hostile workplaces are a plague in this nation!
