What kind of world do you want?

I want a world where it is ok for politicians to admit their mistakes, so long as they immediately begin working to correct them. I want a world where everyone votes as if their life depended on it, because it does. How about a world where everyone has and makes time to follow the news?

I want a society that changes the rules of the game, where we all can take a deep breath, and relax.
Where Americans don't work themselves to death just to get by, or to buy crap they don't need.
A world where children are children again, who aren't falling behind if they aren't in fifty adult-organized activities from the moment they are born.

A world with the same set of rules for everyone, not one set for the rich and powerful, and another set for everyone else.

How about you? What world do you want?

is that if you chose to you can ignore it. The same thing can not be said about other economic systems.

But I disagree. Corporations have taken control of so much of life now that it is impossible to escape them. The landscape, virtually all services.

I live as much on the barter system as I can and still large parts of my life leave me at the mercy of corporations.

4. One without unnecessary suffering.

and yes, there are forms of necessary suffering. On a personal level, meaningful changes rarely comes without some struggle & sacrifice. But the type of suffering that political systems cause are unnecessary and criminal.

6. I'm tired of being overwhelmed by scandal after scandal

I want to think big again.

I think you're absolutely right that the system is the problem. A lot of people whom we despise for what they do probably feel like they have to do it, if they want to survive in the world at all. If they didn't feel that way, perhaps they'd be more open to working together for a better world for all.

8. Thinking small works too.

Family. Community. Self-sufficiency. Things we can do right now to improve our sphere of existence. I want to show them they can do it without becoming a cannabilistic dog.

Showing others a better way, and sharing the joy it has brought those who adopt it, and how much better the whole world would be if more people came on board.

7. I love fantasy

No states, no corporations, no production, no efficiency, no economics, no politicians, no more manipulating nature.

Most importantly, no clocks. No more artificial time.
