This speech is just perfect for a short film or ad to be run with his little snippet about "sure some people are hurt" and show the closed factories and businesses here, or run snippets of other freetraders assuring the people that the freefall we know as freetrade is good for the nation.

1. Well, if the politicians followed up as to WHY it's good...

But they only say "it's good" then go back to whateveritistheyliketodo...

Though if it's true we're all "stuck in a rut" and need educated, we've read on how even top paying jobs are going away too.

Health care jobs (the biggie being a transcriptionist) pays piss-poor.

IT security seems an up and coming field, but that'll be offshored or abandoned at one point too. Still, this one is one most people should look at if they think any jobs worth having will remain in America.

Assuming they can get Kumar to do it once he gets back from White Castle, don'cha'think...

2. For the CEO's and the bu$h/Cheney version of Amerika it is good

but for America, it can not be good for everyone to loose their jobs to a foreign land.

One would ask Why these pompous morons can think that an unemployed America is good. Several of us discussed this at work yesterday after a senior manager made the comment about we could outsource jobs to India. He was following in his hero bu$h's lead on that as his comments were only hours after bu$h made that speech.
The answer is in the stock dividends paid to these corporate whores, everything is about cutting the cost to the bone to maximize the quickest payoff in the dividends.
But the answer to the question is actually much larger than that, it is about breaking middle class America. Breaking organized labor and anyone who has benefited from the strides that early labor movement, livable wages, safety and benefits.
When the bu$h regime and the neo-con agenda is complete, we will all be working for less than a dollar an hour in the same areas as we were for the seven dollars an hour or higher.
They will return those jobs to America because when we are all dirt poor and hungry, we will be willing to take any job the uber rich will provide.
The bu$h regime is set to create an aristocracy and peasants in this nation. If you are not worth millions, you will be left behind to starve and die from disease.

The regime does not care what happens to the American people any more than it cares to spread democracy around the world. Prepare for the fall of America compliments of George W. Bush and his regime.

3. We are fast returning

to the days of the robber barons. Our people are going to be left so piss-poor that they'll work for whatever ridiculously low wage they can get. I'm already seeing it in my area; the "hot" jobs are all in fast-food, restaurants or retail. None of these keep pace with the housing costs. None of them are union or provide any sort of benefits.

These are exactly the conditions which breed a revolution. But it'll get worse before it gets better. Sorry to be such a cynic and pessimist.

This lunatic and his handlers are not only undermining the Constitution, they are undermining the economic security of the people of the U S. Our purchasing ability doesn't matter to them if they have the world market.
