2. yeah he's pretty good
He and Jack Kemp were pretty good to listen to. Interesting anyway, I can't say that I agree with Kemp on most issues, but all in all the segment is really good.

3. Yes sick wasn't it.
According to him nothing needs improvement, things are going GREAT. As long as the administration won't admit there is a growing problem the problem will continue to grow.

6. My mistake.
I think he was posting about my message. My post should have said I was referring to #1 and not the original massage.

11. The Military Guy Got 30 Minutes of
pure propaganda and cheerleading w/o any questions. Things are not going very, very well in Iraq or Afghanistan.

10. Edwards just showed Bush what a real man does.
Admit his mistakes, forthrightly and completely. I was seriously impressed. I have to wonder if Edwards would have been the nominee had he made that statement in late 2003.

12. I'd like him to be the Dem candidate now. As Bill Clinton said,
he's the guy that can talk an owl out of a tree.

14. Me too. Edwards has a great focus and vision.
I like what he's saying about race and poverty. I'm more impressed by him all the time when I read his blog posts. Its the kind of economic populism a lot of DUers talk about.

15. Exactly. And he has the karisma and looks to play well to everyone.
Compare his soft-spoken admission of having made a mistake to the swagger, anger and denial of *.

13. Edwards wasn't ready in 2003
but he's definitely doing all the right things to be ready for 2008.

16. He looked more than ready today though...
He was articulate, forceful, and knowledgeable. But above all, he came across as sincere. That is Edwards' biggest strength: in poll after poll, a vast majority of Americans rated him higher for being sincere - that is a character test and he passes it easily. Kerry didn't (even though we know he is a sincere guy) pass it with a lot of Americans.

18. I went to see him
when he came to Gainesville during the campaign. I got to shake his hand and look him in the eye. He felt and acted like a real person. It was great to see him with his kids too. They were very comfortable and it was no problem for them to go on stage to hang onto daddy when they needed to. At one point, his little boy had his head in daddy's butt while daddy continued speaking. I could never imagine Bush being that way with his children.

19. I watched that rally on c-span...
Yeah, his interaction with his kids is definitely a telling window into his own personality.
