I have taken heat for anti-Bush stickers on my truck at work

for almost 8 months.

I just realized the other day that the 3 die-hard republican co-workers who kept harassing me, trying to force me to remove my Anti-Bush stickers and be more like them, have stopped pressing me into taking the stickers off my truck.

They bitch about their lousy vet benefits, their lousy soco/economic situation, the cost of food, rent and gas!

They still kid me about being a librul, but they are silent about my stickers...Hummm, am I slowly converting them, or is Bush?

10. I told folks to lay back and take it easy when he stole the 2000

election. Nature always sides with the flaws, hidden or overt, and I knew he had no choice but to be what he is and to destroy the coalition of the rich and the stupid that Reagan had so carefully built up.

The stupid weren't quite as stupid as either he thought they were or we feared they were.

Every time we say something light and joking about him in public now, we validate misgivings someone within earshot has about him and his party.

14. Pakistani woman I work with

You cannot even say BUSH without her going on a tirade. I keep telling her to be careful out in public when you say these things. Homeland Security will come after you. Sad that I have to caution her on that.

By the way, she is a Christian. Apparently, religion has no bearing on this to her. To use one of her "kinder" quotes, "Bush, himself, is the Ass..e of Evil."
