Anyone Know of ways to stop this NEO-MEDIA

Our war need to be with main stream media, they are responsible for what America has become and what the future holds for our children. We need ways to stop this Juggernaut, for instance take the shooting of Texas attorney Harry Whittinton, the media reported the story but did not have the effect if its been reported the way it should have, it seem these days every Journalist is more concern about what private school their kids go to, so...I guess the highest bidder wins, what happens to investigative reporting...I will tell you, when these investigative reporters risk their lives to get the story, they are then confronted with Mr Editor who does not want to upset people like Dick 'The Quickdraw' Cheney. In Texas the media is again trying to promote that gangster of a politician Tom 'The Fraudster' Delay into another election, I'm sick and tired of seeing his commercial on TV attacking Liberals, seems like his adverts is the only one they are happy to show, what about the rest of his opponents, aren't they suppose to promote their agenda too oh no....instead they stop showing their adverts because they did not like their message.


These two men are fast becoming menace, and the American public cannot see the real Quickdraw and Fraudster because the media either...(a) do not want to discuss them in details for fear of retribution from the Republicans' organized crime division or (b) to maintain that tuition fee. We need to find a way to systematically eradicate this type of fear that has overtaken Journalism, now....the question is did they brought it upon themselves because of corporate money or is it favoritism, or are the folks behind the camera and in the editing room holding guns to their heads. I'm hoping that we in DU can discuss this or come up with some kind of solution to this plague. We need to take back the media. Maybe the slogan should be "TAKE BACK THE MEDIA CAMPAIGN" just my thought, any others.

1. Attack their funding

2. There are two things you can do about the media.

1) Sign up for emails from "Independent World Television," a news network planned for 2007 which won't depend on advertising. A bigger email list will help them negotiate with cable companies:

3. They dumb us down

in order to keep us from reaching a critical mass. If and when that happens a true spiritual revolution will begin.
As much as I like to be informed of everything that is happening I
wonder sometimes if I'm not just helping to perpetuate this
feeling of doubt and fear we are being fed. The belief that
we are alone and helpless.
Lately I've noticed so many in the media make a turn. Reporters who
were praising the Regime last week seem to turn and give us hope. We
all get excited only to witness the turn again. It's this crazy fucking roller coaster. I'm really beginning to believe it's to keep us from reaching critical mass. I keep asking myself, how can so many people still be sleeping?!!!!

4. Cancel your cable subscription ~ when enough people do that, they'll

all have to send their kids to public school. But I guess people aren't angry enough yet to tune them out until they get the message ~ maybe after another three years of outrages they won't report on!

they are the one that matters, our monthly subscriptions really is peanuts compared to what they get from these corrupt business corporations.

6. Start our own main stream media company. There are Dems that have large

amounts of money. I am sure that there are corporations who would invest. Someone simply needs to combine these two to start a network. If a rich prick like Murdock can do it, I don't see why someone else couldn't do it.

8. I hoped Gore would, but he did that *gadget* channel -Current

or whatever. It succeeded in eliminating my ONLY source for news on TV. It had the BBC, CBC, Deutch Welle, etc. and it was my _only_ source for outside, factual information. Now I rarely watch TV. And no TV news for this news junkie of decades.

9. I watch very little msm anymore either. The truth of the matter is I get

so damned angry when I do watch it. Most of the material is just brain dead and the rest of it is pretty much * cheerleading. It's bad.

For the life of me I don't understand it, after all we have been through in the last five years. I feel like I'm living in the land of stupid.
