One thing I've noticed lately... |
|
I've noticed lately that the frequency of positive response to our Progressive/Democratic oriented bumper stickers has nearly doubled. From 'thumbs up' to throwing the 'peace sign' it makes for a positive morning and afternoon commute that others acknowledge the Progressive/Democratic cause.
I'd be more willing to bet that the W'04 folks aren't recognizing one another. In fact, I've noticed the steady decline in W'04 stickers on vehicles during our commute.

1. I haven't noticed a particularly large increase of progressive |

bumper stickers, but I have noticed a HUGE lack of "W" bumper stickers here in Northeast to North Central Texas. I've even spent quite a bit of time travelling through Oklahoma recently and haven't seen them there either--even in Oklahoma City. It is almost a rarity that I see them, when previously there were quite a few.

I saw 3 today, all on $45,000 + cars so no wonder there. Mind you there are rich dems here but they don't wrap themselves in the flag (or stickers for that matter). I want to get an anti-W sticker on my car.
Two weeks ago on my way home somebody in a Lexis had a sticker like the following : "Keep your church out of my government"
That gave me a smile!
