Blitzer's latest assignment: Sell Dubai
Jebus. I've tried to avoid Cabal News Network lately, but I just turned on the teevee, and it appears Leslie Blitzer is stationed in Dubai, with the assignment to tell the American people what a wonderful, secure place Dubai is. Of coure, Leslie has Jack Cafferty to deal with, who had no problem mustering up the cajones to say it flat-out..."Why the hell do I care how secure Dubai is? I'm worried about HERE."

Blitzer this evening is just an infomercial for the wonderfulness of Dubai. It amazes me that people fall for this shit.

3. Bingo - I've been saying the same thing.
Not only for our military, but for corps. to have a 'base of operations' after the dust settles.

6. Not his assignment... his choice.
These are Blitzer's politics not just his assignment from CNN.

Notice that he is the only one at CNN to interview Dubai execs and UAE representatives.

7. Yesterday Leslie had the CEO of DPW on Late Edition...
...a fellow named Mohammed Sharaf, and Rove must have shit himself. Why?
Here's a picture from the show...

Can't you hear Kkkarl screaming "Where the hell is the suit?! Didn't anyone ask him to wear a suit?!"

I live in Texas and I could hear xenophobe heads a'poppin' like JiffyPop.

8. Sooner We Accept It....The Less Painful It Will Be...
This deal is already done. It's going through regardless of who objects. If we would just realize this, the media can move on to the next item the King george administration wants to shove down our throats.

But, even though we may still object, and have some talking heads like Cafferty or Dobbs on our side....the deal is done. They'll have a couple of weeks pointing out how Dubai is fine and dandy....nothing to see here, move along.

But get it through your heads.....the administration doesn't care what Cafferty thinks. They don't care what Dobbs thinks. They don't even care what some members of their own party thinks. They want this deal to go through and it has gone through, because King george says so.

9. You're absolutely correct
What more can be said? We may as well accept the fact that BushCo has sold our country to the United Arab Emirates. The wishes of "The People" have no place in this discussion.

15. Well, fine then. Let's accept it - as a CAMPAIGN ISSUE!

Turn the bad news around and MAKE IT WORK FOR US.

Ask yourself this: would kkkarl rove do any different? Wouldn't he be figuring out some way to make chicken salad out of chicken shit? We should do the same. Because this one's a beauty! Hits America viscerally - taps into all our fears about all things Arab - that THIS WHITE HOUSE has deviously and deliberately stoked and exploited. So, FINE then. Let the games begin. I'll use that to provoke fear among all the republi-CONS and Republicans I know - to make them increasingly fearful (as, indeed, some of them ALERADY ARE) of the prospects of what we may have to suffer through, with bush continuing in office. I've heard some of them speaking in terms of serious dread at the thought of him remaining at the controls - comments like "... Jeez, and we've still got another three years of this bozo..." (which, if we take back the House of Reps in November, we DO NOT!!!)

Let's turn this around, then, and LET IT WORK FOR US!!! This, as Cafferty himself said about a week or so ago, is the straw that broke the camel's back. This is too much. This they can't stomach. It's simple and it plays straight to the gut - "they're selling our ports to the Arabs!!!!" Simple, short, sweet, straight to the point, and BULL'S EYE! No need to explain things. They get it. It's a ridiculously easy "they get it," too, because the bushies have already done all the heavy lifting on this for us. They've tilled the soil and cleared away the big rocks and trees and even plowed the field. It's all ready. But it's WE who will be planting the seeds and growing the crops. They won't. But it's nice of them to have done all that difficult, tedious, time-consuming advance work for us, isn't it? Now that they've cleared the playing field and left the end zone wide open, DON'T WE OWE IT TO THEM TO RUN THE BALL ALL THE WAY THROUGH IT?

11. it's in his roots...
It’s scary to hear someone carry-on like Pat. But it’s sort of strange to realize that Pat and Wolf Blitzer go way back together. Yep! Wolf used to work for Pat Robertson's CBN way back when Pat was setting up his news bureau and Wolf was the 700 Club’s reporter from the Middle East. He was a lot younger in those days, but in those beginning days Pat exposed Wolf Blitzer to a viewing audience that topped the Nielsen ratings at 28.7 million monthly viewers! That’s a great way to launch one’s career. But Wolf Blitzer likes to keep that part of his career kind of quiet. He doesn’t list the 700 Club’s news bureau in his biography. He doesn’t tell CNN’s audience that Pat was like an angel to him when he was just an independent reporter starting out. But those of us who watched Pat’s show could never forget Wolf Blitzer’s reports. He was presented to us as such an expert—we were just so proud of him! And look how high he’s gone. You’d think he’d give Pat a little credit. No doubt he says “Thanks” by inviting him on CNN!

If cnn says there's nothing to worry about, we should all believe them. Blitzkreig would never lie to us.

13. Royalists. Return to Monarchical Rule Week.
They just don't fucking get it. It's about global corporatism and World Rule by The Ownership Elite! I don't give a flying fuck whether it's the 'Royal Family' of Dubai or the 'Royal Family' of Japan or the 'Royal Family' of Spain! As far as I'm concerned they're all a bunch of corrupt inbreds living off the death and misery of generations of other people.

16. Wolfie should visit the Dubai offices of Baker Botts LLP
Edited on Mon Mar-06-06 05:53 PM by Bozita
Remember Sec of State James Baker? The guy representing GWB at SCOTUS in the 2000 election recount?

Well, he's baaaack!

His law firm stands to make some big bucks on the sale of US ports.

Take a look:

"Also of note: The firm’s attorneys are Baker, Botts, LLP – a lawfirm where former Secretary of State to President George H. W. Bush is a partner. Baker Botts opened an office in Dubai last year."
