I embrace the Beatitudes.

(for everyone)

I don't believe I lump them all into the group that woud call me an Antichrist. I tilt at thos who would be better served by embracing the meanings expoused but ignored.

I remember in Sunday school, back in the olden days, I was told to beware of one who comes and fools many. That he would come in the name of the Lord, profess to be a Christian, and he would show himself to be very powerful.


Dear God, if you exist, please give us a sign... show us what to do... or, if this is the end of the world as we know it and it is all set in stone, then please have mercy on us and send us good drugs to see us through.

And He does believe in money before everything, casually causing great harm/destruction without concern and worse. He even takes delight in making fun of the desperate pleas of one of the many people who's executions he cavalierly presided over.

Though, He does believe in turning the other cheek--someone else's cheek. If you ask him, humility is one of his great qualities. He believes in having other do unto him as he would have them do. He is an atheist with delusions of being Christian (thus he would do lip service to or pretent to support the Beatitudes (central portions of the 'sermon on the mount'), that is, assuming someone tells him that's what he's hearing (as he is probably as uneducated a Christian as any)). He resembles a 'man' though he hardly qualifies (plus he likes to pretend he's a cowboy (howdy, howdy)).

He, however, is definitely not us.
