Just finished watching the forum on IMPEACHMENT of Bush on C-Span2 - if

that wasn't a rallying cry, I don't know what is. It's always been clear to any DUer that grounds for impeachment are there. Our media will not talk about it and our congress will not touch it. I am of the persuasion that thinks of the question: would you rather be right or be happy? And can without hesitation say I'd rather be happy. I already know I'm right ;). That said, the media is a lost cause. We must be the media. Congress is afraid to touch the impeachment issue. We need to touch it. We need to contact our congressmen and women, our senators, our local and national lists, and we must not give up .

Please vist Rep. Conyers site and send a letter to your local representatives and send a note to all you know asking that they do the same. As soon as the video of this forum is available on http://c-span.org/, send it to everyone you know. Contact the moderators of all lists you are on local and national and get the word out.

15. ABsentee vote is a bad idea.

There's another thread on DU about that. I posted that when I voted the last time, there were 4 or 5 clerks sitting at desks at the polling site, entering the absentee vote info into DiBold machines sitting on their desks. Now this is Ga and I don't know if it's done that was everywhere or not. Who knows if those clerks were entering the RIGHT info? Who knows if they weren't deliberately entering votes for the candidates THEY wanted to win?

The other problem I had was that one of those desks was right beside me while I was waiting in line for a free machine. I read the names and votes of at least 7 to 10 people while I was standing there. I didn't know the people, but that doesn't mean some others didn't. Sure looks like a breach of the secret ballot to me!

18. Impeachment can happen AFTER leaving office.

Something must happen, or we lose the republic. However, we have time. And options.

Amazing how similar this is to the Nixon impeachment.

But the one thing Conyers did make clear is that it's winning in '06 that's more important than impeachment.

Lastly, what Holtzman said was that with the 1996 war crimes law that was passed, the people in this administration (maladministration) are in for one hell of a ride regardless of impeachment or not.

after seeing the forum on cspan last evening i was more resolved to send out that list..to ten people every day..asking them to do the same...i was on a different computer which i cant access for a few days and where i have it but i think it needs to be continuously reposted....and i cant remember who put it together but it was easy to complete action items because the click (links) were included...
the media wont help us...we must do this from the groundswell of disillusioned in this country...
americans still think there were weapons of mass destruction,duh?.. i realized after seeing that forum, that it is each of our jobs to educate...and deliver the truth...
