He said that some of shrub's speeches were similar to Hitler's. That is not a direct comparison.

The tape shows that the teacher said we use our military to go out into the world and tell everyone we must be like us.

Last night in my class a student said the very same thing and everyone looked at him and nodded. Of course, these are college level adults and many are quite worldly, having lived in countries like Portugal, Spain, Poland, Pakistan, Jordan, and others.

This teacher handled himself very well. The clips from the recording show the teacher clearly was not on a rant and was very careful in how he presented these views. He even said they were not necessarily his own views but that he was throwing them out because students are not exposed to these points of view anywhere else.

The little brownshirt, hoping to entrap him, asked a number of leading questions which only led the teacher to encourage him as the objective was to get the students to think critically. The teacher welcomed opposition and critical questions.

Bravo for this teacher. He did a terrific job of being a teacher and of handling himself on national television.

12. It turned out to be a very good interview and seemed to vindicate Bennish.

It seems that he was set up by the student, who never even approached him about the discussion, nor the school board. The family shopped around the tape to bushbot radio.

They also showed students protesting to have him reinstated, and he believes that he stayed within the guidelines of the syllabus.

He said he wanted to make the students to use critical thinking.

What is of course is totally cool is that the tape did illustrate how Bush's imperialism is evident!

They're pretty much Bush cheerleaders, so I would have expected them to try to undermine the guy's position.

questions. It made Bennish seen in a very favorable light.
