Schoolteacher makes credit card payment; reported to DHS
... They paid down some debt. The balance on their JCPenney Platinum MasterCard had gotten to an unhealthy level. So they sent in a large payment, a check for $6,522.

They were told, as they moved up the managerial ladder at the call center, that the amount they had sent in was much larger than their normal monthly payment. And if the increase hits a certain percentage higher than that normal payment, Homeland Security has to be notified. And the money doesn't move until the threat alert is lifted.

2. Meanwhile, the interest on the principal continues to be
compounded while they hold the payment, I'm sure.

If this doesn't prove they want us poor and scared, nothing will.

3. Credit card companies make me sick
I was once so deep in debt it was ridiculous. We made arrangements with one company and paid on time every month. We sent the check in on the 2nd of every month. Yet the last six months of the payoff, they claimed we owed more because payments were "a week late, sometimes two." I accused them of putting my payments in a desk drawer so they could add on more late fees. That's why I don't have a credit card anymore. They bleed you dry then cut you some more.
