Rock, country for Rock`n The Rally music festival (Sturgis, SD)
Aerosmith, Sammy Hagar, Big & Rich, Keith Urban, Steve Miller, Cheap Trick, Steppenwolf, Fabulous Thunderbirds, REO Speedwagon, 38 Special, Foghat, Georgia Satellites, Greg Rollie and Cross Canadian Ragweed are among the acts confirmed for the inaugural Rock`n The Rally music festival, to be held Aug. 6-10 in Sturgis, S.D., Billboard.com has learned.

The festival, to be staged around the giant Sturgis Bike Week that draws thousands to the area, is produced by Dork Fish, Inc.

Dork Fish is in the process of building an $11 million permanent amphitheatre on a 34-acre site at the Glencoe Camp Resort in Sturgis. Capacity will be as high as 60,000. 'As opposed to the `build it and they will come` theory, we subscribe to the `build it where they already are theory`,' Dork Fish production manager/site coordinator Mark Russo tells Billboard.com.

Tickets range from $40 to $70 per day and go on sale on March 10 at Starticketsplus.com.

This disgusts me in light of the recent SD medieval abortion legislation. I wish Rolling Stone magazine would do a story about these groups supporting a rapist rights state.

6. Unfortunate choice of words, actually
perhaps you could organize a pro-choice rally...

'Cause it's not your fight, is it? You feel no responsibility to stand up for women on this issue, eh?

Very unfortunate choice of words. I will admit those words come at a bad time:

or

but still, the words really are telling.

5. Anyone who attends this thing - the rally or the concert has to
know what it is that they are supporting. Mississippi and South Dakota, the New Slave States. I would do nothing that might even tangentially support either place...

8. You've just written the new state motto
South Dakota - Rapists Rights State.

Put that on a button with a coat hanger.
