Iran and stupidity and the neocons
Why is Iran saber rattling?

Its like John Stuart threatening to kick Mike Tyson's ass, it makes no sense and will only lead to the eventual asskicking.

Don't any of these countries understand modern PR campaigns; Saber rattle through the wacky mullahs to keep the sheeple on their toes, but have the President say nice things to the international community.

It's stupid and its gonna end up giving the Bushies just enough wiggle room to start yet another conflict.

1. Iran has their own agenda
and it includes doing things within the nation to consolodate the hold of the fundamentalist Shia mullahs have on the nation. In the city of Qom, Sufis (the mystical sect of Islam, moderate to liberal)were arrested en masse, and their meeting place was bulldozed and burned. The Sufis were non-violent, but some were tortured by the Iranian police, and some 200 were not released and are yet unaccounted for. The reason for the persecution? The government claimed the Sufis had links to the West. The Iranian mullahs are playing to their base, demonizing everything Western, and painting the tension as a Western war against Islam. Our Idiot in Chief has actually helped their cause in his illegal Iraq war, his pronouncements that the aggression is a crusade, and in not reprimanding a general who was saying that we need to kill Muslims if they won't convert to Christianity.

In some ways, I see the Iranians as wanting war as much as Bush does, and it disturbs me very very much.

2. I agree with you!
What concerns me, is the fact the USA has a broke military. And the only type of military attack we could bring to Iran would be a tactical nuclear campaign, and the guy in charge would do this in a heart beat IMHO.
