My local post office displays/sells Ronald Reagan stamps...no Bill Clinton

Every now and then I have the occassion to visit the post office. You remember them, right? The little red brick building near the center of town where you wait in line 20 minutes to complete the simplest transaction? Well, I dropped by today, just for nostalia's sake, because I couldn't find one of those things called "stamps" laying around the house. And there, on their big display of Official USPS Collectibles, is a huge, oversized stamp featuring the smiling likeness of Ronald Reagan. Why? I didn't see any stamps of Bill Clinton? I actually would have paid double for a Monica Lewinsky stamp. Or maybe just a plain blue stamp with a white splooge-mark on it.

But Ronald Reagan? I imagine the George Bush stamp should be out soon. I think it's mandated in the Patriot Act.

Do keep it clean. They actually stopped doing this over a Lewinsky dress stamp! Funny that you mentioned it.

They're pretty restrictive, though, about political statements and public figures. But a blue fabric texture with a stain on it...hehehe...I could probably order several sheets of them before they caught on and pulled them!

but only for all that it would imply. Maybe we can get the USPS to issue a commemorative War Crimes Stamp (or, even better, a series of stamps - "Collect them all!") after the trial, conviction and carrying-out of sentence upon the War Criminal Junta?

I didnt really care for your tone. If you dont want to wait in line, try one of our contract stations. (same cost as the Post office) or if you need a "simple" transaction like buying stamps do it online then. No need to run down the whole system. Im sure if your work place employed 900K people it would work so "efficiently" anyhoo. Next time dont be like one of the sheeple and spout off before you know your facts. A person has to be dead at least five years to be considered. UNLESS they are a president in which case the Stamp can appear on their birthday (if practicable) the year after they die, In this case regan died in june and the stamp was ready in Feb. For a complete list of who is on the comittee that picks WHO and WHAT is on the stamps try USPS.gov, feel free to nominate whomever you want
