Time for a History Lesson
I'm curious, before people blamed everything on Liberals...

What did they say?

I know there was a time when people didn't say the Liberal Media, they said the ______ Controlled Media.

Before there were Liberal Conspiracies, there were _______ Conspiracies.

It would be a giveaway if Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity just accidentally blurted out one day that Liberals control the banking system or something, right?

Am I comparing our problems to people who really have been persecuted? No, but the Propaganda and Fear remains a constant, it needs to be defused.

3. Yup. Commies and Jews. The vast international Jewish conspiracy...
the red menace...oh, the memories. The corporate interests have always hated the Democratic ascendance after 1932, they have been fighting the effects of the New Deal ever since. In the 80's began the public vilification of the liberals. Liberal=bad, conservative=good. Well we are now living with the vile effects of that. Americans can be so politically naive. They love to get all riled up by threats of imminent bogeyman attacks. Too bad we can't see the real bogeymen for the umm... corporate Republicans.

2. That's a helluva good point. Your parallels are indeed valid.
I'm a bit surprised that nobody (including me) thought of it before.
