1. We *must* vote early and often!!
No - wait - the 'often' part is the Republican approach.

We should still vote early - and we need 100% turnout!

2. Yes.
I will also do my best to make sure that people who normally do not vote will be voting this year.

3. We get billionaire "jobs must stay in Michigan" ship-em-to-China DeVos
Edited on Wed Mar-08-06 10:10 PM by faygokid
Dick DeVos - Amway billionaire; products produced in China - is actually running ads (for governor) already that call for keeping jobs in Michigan, as Amway outsources every single thing, except Dick DeVos (and wife Betsy, who said people making good wages in Michigan are the problem. She was born a millionaire, married a billionaire. Thanks, Betsy).

5. Of course, I live in Kansas
and some of my votes won't matter. We do have a wonderful Democratic Governor, Kathleen Sebelius who's up for re-election, and the Republicans are having a hard time coming up with someone to run against her. And I have a Democratic Congressman, Dennis Moore who's going after his fourth term and the Republicans don't seem to have anyone willing to run against him this time. Although I'm never very crazy about much of his voting record. In many other states he'd be a moderate Republican, rather than the "moderate" Democrat he passes for here.

6. Oh yeah. This is Pennsylvania.
Little Ricky Santorum has got to go.

I also plan on working for my Congressman's campaign (Murtha).

10. I don't know...I've voted in every election since I was 18
no Democrat running for Congress in my district, two Republicans running in the Democratic primary for Governor, and a no Democrats running for local office. :(

I became a Democrat because they were once the majority party..and I really believed that under a Democratic President we might pay down the debt, get universal healthcare, and wage a global war on poverty. Now Democrats are out of power, opposed to national healthcare, and don't even hold office where I live! please tell me...should I waste my time voting???? :banghead:

11. Yeah, yeah, I'll vote
I wish our people fought the US Fascist Act and the Iraq war though.

So yes I'll be voting but won't be so enthusiastic about it.

12. Yeah, but it will definitely be a case of holding my nose and lesser
evilism.

The Dem candidate for Gov here in Colorado is a total waste of molecules, anti-abortion and pretty much not to be trusted not to turncoat... but he's better than Bob Beauprez. It's as bad as voting in Texas. I don't like Ritter and I don't have any respect for him, but I can't stand the other side. He's a prosecutor and "tough on crime" and that usually means bad things for citizens... but he's better than Beauprez.

Mark Udall's seat is safe - District 2 is very happy with him and the Rethugs aren't even bothering to run a serious campaign against him. There may be a sacrificial lamb candidate, but not a serious one.

The Dems have been slow out of the gate for gov, lite gov, SoS, Treasurer, but our filing deadline is May 25, so that's not surprising.
