Ass kicking tune every democrat running for office, should be singing...
Edited on Thu Mar-09-06 06:53 AM by Hubert Flottz
When was the last time a republican in congress OR the White House, went to bat for YOU, against the gougers in the oil and natural gas rackets? When was the last time the republicans on Capitol Hill had a real investigation, into the energy price gouging? The Democrats had an in depth investigation, the last time they controlled the Senate and the prices dropped quickly. The republicans haven't conducted a REAL investigation, since they gained control of our government, that has resulted in any REAL relief, for the consumer. Is this because, the Oil and Gas(energy)giants, donate the lion's share of their political cash, to the republicans? * YES, You Bet It IS!

I told you on this very board, before the election in 04, that if Bush won, the price of gasoline would go up to over $3.00 a gallon and I was right. Did Bush do anything about it? NO! Al Gore and Clinton stayed on the energy companies asses and they kept a lid on the price gouging for eight years. Why would anyone in their right mind, vote for people who let the gouging go on, without even raising a single question about it? Not only do the republicans not do anything to help the consumer, but they defend the gouging outlaws. "Oh It's A Free Market!" Free to rip you off to their BLACK heart's content? YES! Think ENRON!

The people from the middle east who are looking to buy up America, are getting all that extra money to throw around, because Bush and the republican congress, will not stop the energy gouging. Everything that a foreign company buys in America, saps a little more of America's strength. Bush is selling off America's ability to protect it's self from the rest of the world and the GOP congress has agreed to EVERYTHING he has done for almost six years. The GOPer's stand against Bush on the "Ports Deal," is too little, too late. A totally Rovish political dog and pony show, for the cameras.

The windfall oil money, has been flowing out of America, wide open, for almost four years now, without any REAL regulation of the gouging, and it's time for the guilty in Washington to pay, on election day...

If the republicans retain control of congress, the energy gouging will not only go on, but it will get even worse. Every time the price goes up at the pumps, the terrorists and their friends in the middle east win!

It's not just "It's the economy, stupid"...It's The Sovereignty of America Stupid!

The GOP sold it's soul under Reagan, now it wants to sell everything you and me own too...like our country for instance. Well their souls were theirs to sell, but our country belongs to we the people and if we don't wise up, we aren't going to have much of a country, much longer!

END OF RANT...

2. What if all of that is just part of the plan?
That is not just stupidity but necessary to achieve some greater overall plan to shape the world.

I heard some one say, and I can't remember who it was, that "America is being hollowed out". And it seems that way to me, we have sold the real estate and resources to the world and themselves became global and not particularly allied to America for your wealth. The new Hollowed out America will be no different than the old Mexican one where a few families control everything that is of value, and have little sympathy or concern for the many poor or that fact that their country has problems.

The New elite rich will be Global in there ownership and will be global in there loyalty.

3. All the bleeding and suffering of every American soldier who...
gave his all, for the sovereignty of America, over the past 230 years is being nullified by the wealthy greedy pigs who bought Bush his job. The "Haves and the Have Mores" want to rule over all the working poor of the world. They want to destroy any form of democracy anywhere on the planet. They think they know best for every human on Earth, but Hitler thought the same thing and we see how that turned out. These people are arrogant, power crazy, monsters, and they OWN the GOP's soul, lock stock and barrel. Bush is the name of the Royal Family in our country now! America is the kingdom of corporate greed!

It's time for the democrats to speak out about this out of control corporate abuse, of we the people.

4. Speaking out will not be enough
And may not be all that helpful.
The Democrats must have a plan to win and it must include winning elections in spite of downright theft of votes, and a plan to transform America back to being owned and operated by US.
It must appeal to the populous and may require many legal battles to secure the vote, and leaders that will act on a plan to return justice and fairness to the american people.

My rant for the day.
