Report suggests Chris Matthews took money from myriad conservative groups; Hardball star won't say if paid: Soon...

We have been waiting for 12 hours now, I hope it sheds more light on Tweety and his groups than what we already know.

This should be interesting - could be the equivalent of political Payola.

5. In one sentence, what do we already know?
I know he raised money for a fascist charity front named Casino Jack.

12. Once we understand all the connections, we'll be able to use
Matthews as an example of a new phenomenon. A pundit who claims ties to the Democratic party, and insists he's playing hardball, when he's actually gone to the other side.

8. He's been giving an overabundance of free time this week
Not to mention his run-up to "Picking the Next President". Yes, not Candidate, not Presidential Hopeful, not "2008 Road to the White House".

Yes folks! It's true! According to Matthews, it's a done deal that the GOP picks the next POTUS and they'll be letting the country know some time this weekend! :woohoo:

Candidates on MSNBC and Matthews should be required to claim their air time as campaign contributions.

28. Noticed that, too!
We really need to get active on MSNBC, somehow. Two of their hosts are promoted out right as "conservative". Matthews "promise" is a joke. And Olberman's the best, but I wouldn't call him Liberal...he's at the middle (but which compared to the others is left).

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If these people are truly looking at their bottom line and gain market share, they're idiots! Their market share would go through the roof if they put a couple of truly Liberal hosts on...this is not just an underserved market, but an UNSERVED market when it comes to the cable 'news' networks.

11. If true, MSNBC should fire him on the spot.
No ifs, ands, or buts.

Now, what do you think the odds of THAT happening are?

I'm pretty sure I've read he's their top talking head STAR! Bad publicity like this hurts the network, and they're not going to be happy campers about that!
