What are you willing to sacrifice for the nation?
This is a question the Dems need to be asking the nation now.

At what cost do you want to fight this war? Are you willing to send your kid? Do without a big gas guzzling car and forgo some of the market "choices"? How about cheap consumer goods? Balance free trade with national security. How does cheap goods get security for you? It gets you more stuff, yeah. But money don't buy you love.

Expand.

3. I am willing to conserve anything
I will never fight this war unless it lands on our own doorstep. I am willing to pay a working wage for goods and I'm willing to stay out of places like walmart forever. Money will never buy happiness but good relationships will. That's my stance.

4. I am willing to sacrifice 10% of the income from the top richest
people and corporations in the country. I am also willing to sacrifice 10% of the us military budget.

I really don't know how lowing my standard of living any further will help advance either the liberal or Democratic agenda.
