Did anyone watch Washington Journal this morning? Missed a show
being in the southwest, it was on earlier than I get up.

It was a call-in for only democrats to call and say what they thought of the democratic party.

I am very curious to find out what kind of comments were said; who the callers were saying they would like to see run in 2008.

Got to catch the Repugs turn. That was pretty funny. Alot of bsh bashing.
But I wish I knew they were going to do that with the dems this morning.
I would have at least set up the recorder.

Thanks in advance.

2. in a nutshell
the program was in reference to an op-ed in the Financial times entitled the three stooges, referring to pelosi, reid and dean. Most of the callers were critical of the DLC,and blamed the media for censoring the democratic party message. They were good calls, for the most part.several people put Edwards,Warner, and gore as presidential candidates. No Hillary supporters for president.

3. Peter, the Republican, was moderator........
He was stoking the GOP talking points (Reid-colorless, Pelosi-radical and brainless), Dean (the screamer & too far to the left).

The calls I heard all took issue with his characterizations, and thematically continued the blast on the GOP and Bush as arrogant, corrupt, and inept. Some were favorable toward Warner, Edwards, and Dean as presidential candidates. Other just opined that the GOP was in charge and any ideas Dems had were never given the light of day.

Peter, needless to say, was not a happy camper.

4. It was far too short:
by the time I got myself wrapped around the conversation, it was all over. Check c-spin's site: it should be available for download and podcast.

5. I thought went well
I was actually gonna post. The Dem calls were all good I thought. Stressing the main point that the Dems have no power. A few mentioned the fact that dems have no message as repug talking points which have zero merit, which I totally agree. When he started the repub callers, they were all over the map, bashing bush worse then the dems. It was great I thought. Obviously way more dissention on that side of aisle. Talk is talk, but we just have to wait 'til November I guess.
