John McCain the fall guy?

I'm listening to Sam hosting for Randi and a guy called in who says he's a republican and saying these people running the party now days aren't republicans or Capiatalists either. He said that if McCain does get the nomination he will be the fall guy because they'll have to raise tax's. Of course I don't think they'll ever nominate him in the first place quite honestly.
