Similar but not as tragic event happened to a high school friend of mine and his family back in 1970. Same thing only coming back from grandmothers funeral when a dump truck ahead of them and over a hill decided to do a U turn in the road. They hit it,no one was killed but all of them were in the hospital for a time.

Poor Will Reeve. Thirteen years old, and both parents have died in the last eighteen months. A grandmother too.

After checking the map, I see that I have driven on that road, no doubt including the very part where the accident occurred.
