My 7-year old god-daughter made me SO proud tonight....
Edited on Thu Mar-09-06 11:33 PM by KzooDem
Had her parents (my best friends) and her over for dinner tonight. She's feeding the dogs from the table as we discuss politics. She waits for a lag in the conversation and says:

"I have something to say. I don't like our president."

Why is that I ask.

"Because he wants to cut down all the forests and drill for oil where the wild animals live in Alaska." Her parents have no idea where she got this from, as they swear they do not drag her into political discussions at home.

She got TWO pieces of caramel cake for dessert!

I'm glad she knows what's going on. Do you think she does because of her parents, school or what? :) The kids know!

2. Excellent!
One of my friends daughters met Mr. Graywarrior the other day, who had on his favorite pink shirt. My friend made a comment to her about the color and she retorted, "I like it. It means he's confident about his manliness."
