So Halliburton 'rebuilds Iraq', 'rebuilds' NOLA, etc etc......and now (possibly the plan all along) they take over and 'run/manage' the US ports.

My question: is Halliburton perhaps overextended?????

8. They're not bigger than the military

Bushco. is outsourcing all sorts of jobs that used to be done by the military to corp. like Halliburton. The government should be rebuilding NOLA, running the Iraqi occupation, etc. How did an oil company end up doing all this? Halliburton was nowhere near this big back in 2001 - a lot of their biggest operations were simply created via no-bid contracts, until suddenly they're so huge that they become the only organization big enough to handle these contracts. Halliburton is now apparantly the only US company big enough to run an American port. How sick is that?

20. my family used to subscribe to the Daily years ago...

my stepdad got sick of their reporting and canceled it. This was right before the OKC bombing.

I also remember hearing complaints of Clinton coming to OKC at that time. One of my uncles bitched about it and I asked him 'where should Clinton be, then?'. He shut up on that one.

I became a much bigger fan of Clinton because he came in spite of what was being said.

80%, maybe they could do it again. I don't know why any American company is there except to rip off the treasury.
